Storm total accumulations of 4-8" are likely with some locally higher amounts possible in our northern/western towns. The wind will be a major problem today as it increases to 20-30 mph out of the north. Substantial blowing/drifting snow will occur, especially this afternoon into tonight. Scattered, brief near-whiteout conditions are possible. East-west roads will be most affected. It then turns cold over the next few days with highs in the teens and lows in the single digits either side of zero.
